I am the happy wife of one amazing husband and the proud mother of 5 precious angels, including a set of triplets!! I love being a mother & learning how to better love, care for, cook for, and educate our children. I also like to help others when they don't receive the service promised at hotels, restaurants, etc. Enjoy learning about life at Mama Henley's House!

Tuesday's Tip
As Christmas cards start to pour in, create a cute bowl or bucket to place them in as they arrive. My mother has a metal wreath that she fills with cards. Each night, choose a card (or let your child choose) and tell your family how you know this other family. Then, pray for your friends. It's a great way to quite literally bless others!
Thats such a nice idea!
ReplyDeleteI always put mine in a big silver bowl. I love the idea of choosing one family to pray for each night. We will do that. Thanks for the idea!
ReplyDeleteWhat a wonderful idea! I love how it creates a history and compassion ~ you are a fabulous roll model to your children!

Super tip! I LOVE it and will start that tradition with my famuily. This is my first Christmas as a mom and I cannot wait to send out our card. I hope others will pray for us and I will be sure to pray for my family and friends.
ReplyDeleteLove the idea of praying every night for another family... you are the second blog post I have read to suggest that. Such a wonderful thing to share!
ReplyDeleteLove that!

ReplyDeleteHappy Thanksgiving, friend! Praying for you and your family this beautiful season.
Aww, I love your prayer idea! We stick all our cards in one of those photo stands with all the "arms" sticking out of it so we can look at them all season long!
