Wouldn't you know...

Our home phone went out for the 12th time in less than a year. I was livid and threatened Brighthouse like you wouldn't believe. They didn't feel too threatened by Mama Henley because they made me wait FIVE DAYS without a working phone. FINALLY Ernesto showed up today and started investigating. I listed the things that had been changed in the past. He went back over all of those things. All of a sudden he disappeared. Our house guest let me know that he was in the bathroom. Wouldn't you know I opened the door a little later and could hardly BREATHE???!!! Why oh why does this happen to me ALL of the time?! I am the girl who always chooses the "recently contaminated stall" at the public restroom. I am also the girl who has a repairman stink up my bathroom! Does this ever happen to you? On one hand I felt bad that the man could not do his business in complete peace knowing that we were in the house. On the other hand, YIKES!

Okay wait a minute. Ernesto...the house guest? Do you know this guy very well or is he just the repair man. If a repair man used my water closet at all let alone without asking I would have come unglued. Unwritten rule.......repair men never use a customers water closet especially for anything more than #1. I would have had to hose everything down with Clorox.

I agree with Susan -- strange that a repair man would just disappear... and he certainly should not be using the facilities without having asked. But sometimes ya gotta go when ya gotta go... Ok, now can I laugh a little tho?!

Yes, Ernesto was the repair man. My mother in law saw him disappear into the bathroom. I'm not sure if he asked or not! I had to disinfect everything!!

OH no!!! And just in time for Christmas... hope you have Lysol Neutra-Air!

Thanks for your sweet comments on my house. I can rest easy now. For the past two days, I've not really known what to do with myself. No decorating projects! Maybe I should just sit back and enjoy it. Ah ha! That's an idea! LOL

When can I see yours!?!?!

My husband owns a business. His repairmen are NEVER to use the restroom in a home they are working in. You should report that. UGH!!!!!!!!!

OMG- what is wrong with people? Or in Ernesto's case.... I probably don't want to know. I actually had it happen with a BLIND DATE once. Back when I was crazy enough to invite them to my house. He came in, said hello and then promptly did the same thing Ernesto did. Needless to say, I never went out with him again. ha!

So funny...I always feel like those situations make me know something about that person that I was pefectly happy not knowing.

Isn't there a convenience store or McDonald's they can visit?

I am sure you would have preferred to offer him a coke and Christmas cookie rather than your bathroom.
