I am the happy wife of one amazing husband and the proud mother of 5 precious angels, including a set of triplets!! I love being a mother & learning how to better love, care for, cook for, and educate our children. I also like to help others when they don't receive the service promised at hotels, restaurants, etc. Enjoy learning about life at Mama Henley's House!

what DO you do with all their artwork? Because seriously I cannot keep it all!
I totally feel your pain! ;)
OK-GET roll of string...like butchers use to wrap their meat packages. go to target and buy these CLIPS (CLEAR PLASTIC) intended to clip lights to summer umbrella.....string along wall going down basement...or where ever u are able..hang art work.... I did this for years....then I picked the BEST and just framed that. I'll try to post pictures sometime.
I can't keep up with the paperwork of just us; I don't know how you do it! How do you do it?!
Wow I also feel your pain. And no children here, just me and DH. How do we accumulate all these papers? Ugh! XOXO
YOu are too funny! I so understand. I am buried under laundry and just when I am caught up it starts all over again! I think it's insane. Mail and paper too, just craziness!
Thanks for your sweet message on my new blog! I really appreciate the encouragement. What a sweet little family you have here! Precious precious children! Just read your 'Fear' post and I am right there with you. I pray every night to let my worries go. I can't get out the door sometimes I'm such a worrier! Good thing someone else is in control!
Your house, too? Yeah, it's amazing what multiplies in our house. I'm with Entertaining Mom, how do you weed out the art. I feel so guilty at times throwing things away, yet I can't keep it all!
We joke in our house that we manufacture garbage. It is unbelievable!
As for the art, I have made books at snapfish or shutterfly by scanning and taking pictures of the kids artwork. Just look for when they have deals. The rest stays in the memory box until a new book can me made.
I have more than one bin of said artwork that I've collected over the years ~ how does a mom part with such treasures? Nicholas is now in college and I don't think I'll ever be able to part with it.

If you'd like a real lesson in multiplication, wait until your children are teenagers and play sports ~ oh my! ;)

Laundry....damn, laundry. It grows at night while we're asleep.
BTW, the family I made the "iron chef" invitation and aprons for does not live in Tampa. I used Tampa for my generic version. I grew up in Sarasota so I use FL cities a lot.
Our dining room table has become our catchall and we cleaned it last week. It took FOREVER!
I'm with 'ya- especially on the laundry. I wonder what really *does* go on in my laundry room after we all go to bed because there seems to be some business going on. In fact, sometimes when I'm not really in the mood I joke with hubby to go lay down in the pile of dirty jeans and maybe he'll get the biggest thrill of his life - ha! "Sorry, not tonight honey. I've got a date with the laundry basket."
I have drawers and drawers of the artwork and good test grades and projects and... and... and...
I am overwhelmed! When you find the answer, please let us know, sweet friend!
