I am the happy wife of one amazing husband and the proud mother of 5 precious angels, including a set of triplets!! I love being a mother & learning how to better love, care for, cook for, and educate our children. I also like to help others when they don't receive the service promised at hotels, restaurants, etc. Enjoy learning about life at Mama Henley's House!

My MIL is reading Sarah's Key. She seems to be enjoying it. I just read Same Kind of Different as Me. It was fabulous -one that you and your hubby would enjoy.
I am in the middle of re-reading the Tales of the City series...I am on the 4th book right now so I am sure the rest will get me through the summmer :O)
Read Sarah's Key last year...it was a good story - toward the end, I thought the author just didn't know how to end it and started getting really off track.
On my list this summer is The Space Between Us, 1000 White Women, The Walk, and the new Jodi Picoult.
I have to mention that the Emily Griffin books are very easy reads, but I must admit all of my bookclub liked them for summer reads....Something Borrowed, Something Blue, etc.
Good luck!
PS Will use your Travel tip in the next 2 weeks!!!!
Oh. Sarahs Key is one of the many on my bedside table. I just finished Chasing Harry Winston and have started Mommmywood. I am also currently reading Pride and Prejudice and Benjamin Franklin.
I know I'm a little cooky reading so many books at the same time. Just depends what I am in the mood for that day.
I'm dying to read Pretty in Plaid, and some Dominick Dunne (if I have time) xoxo

Sarah's Key is great--you will love it!
I listened to the unabridged version of The Forgotten Garden on my long drive from Texas to North Carolina and back. It was very enjoyable. On my list for this summer are Major Pettigrew's Last Stand and The Sweetness at the Bottom of the Pie.
Happy Reading!
I'm reading The Inn at Lake Devine for book club this month.I've just started the book so I can't really offer a review. I also have Lunch in Paris on my bedside table as a fun read offered by a friend. I'll be checking back to see what suggestions you receive. I read The Help ~ it was one of those books that you didn't want to end.

Oh great posts. I love to read. I'm in the beginning of Worlds without ends by Ken Follett. So far so good, but I have a ways to go. It has over 1,000 pages!
Ah, how I wish I had some time for a good book. Have a great week!
I have heard fabulous things about that book. When you are done write a review for us!
Read "In the Sanctuary of Outcasts" by Neil White!
I liked Sarah's Key. But I LOVED Same Kind of Different as Me and The Forgotten Garden. A quick read that I enjoyed was Saving CC Honeycutt. I just finished Roses while on vacation last week and really enjoyed it too. Another one that I liked was The Summer Guest. And Snowflower and the Secret Fan.
Hugs,
Chesnye
I am the last person in the world to read "The Help". Everyone is right... it is amazing.
