How will YOU celebrate?!

Valentine's Day is just around the corner. We've had fun sending packages to our niece and the children's special aunt who has a Valentine's Day birthday. We've also made cards for grandparents and friends at school. The children will spend a special day at Disney with friends as well. I love decorating for holidays, though I have friends who are more creative! I have decorated our boxwood tree at the front door with a love banner and heart strings. The front hall mirror is decorated and today I received the BEST Pre' de Provence heart soaps from wonderful Julia! They are already in our guest bathroom. B sent our D a special heart plate as a little goddaughter gift. It's fun to use festive things during a holiday.
I am giving hubby Season 2 of Mad Men on DVD. He loved Season 1 as part of his Christmas present, so hopefully we will enjoy many snuggles watching Season 2! A special dinner is also planned in the future. How will YOU celebrate, dear readers? Share the LOVE!

How fun! Valentines Day is getting lost in Hong Kong this year because Chinese New Year falls on Feb 14th this year! So I anticipate we will be wearing our Chinese silks and watching a dragon parade!
Love & Blessings,
Kim

Dinner and a movie for us. I think we are going to see Valentines day.

This is the first time we are going out in years. It should be fun!

Gift exchange and a low-key evening, most likely cooking a special dinner. We have a gala the next weekend, so we're saving the babysitter for that date night!

Love the mirror, by the way. :)

My kids are grown (high school, college and new career girl) and I haven't even thought about it yet. Yikes! DOTR will come through with flowers...which I love! And I'll throw steaks on and he'll be happy.

How fun, I love the decor. I cant wait to get state side again so we can decorate for holidays other than Christmas. This V day I went out on a limb and had some pics taken of me, they are being framed now and will hang them on Saturday as a surprise-- I am never in the camera and I thought as they days are only getting longer that I had better get infront of one before it was too late. Will be sharing on the blog soon... have a great day.

We have our traditional "I Love You Party". WE have a heart shaped meal and dessert. We go around the table and each person gets told why they are love and then they get their badge that says, "___ is loved!" It's my favorite tradition!
