Where do your guests spend most of their time when visiting your home? I find that my guests love to crowd into our kitchen. In our former house, we tore down a wall and renovated the kitchen to make it more inviting since guests tend to enjoy talking in the kitchen. My friend, B, told me that she always cleans her refrigerator before guests arrive for a party or a weekend. I recently hosted Supper Club and realized that the shelves in our refrigerator had lots of spots and circles from wet items. Therefore, I pulled everything out and cleaned the shelves. It really does make a difference! Happy Tuesday's Tip!

In fact, I try to clean out my fridge once a week, right before I do my big shop of the week so it never gets out of control. Still, sometimes I still have to take everything out and go at it!

My refrig is one of the places I fall short on! What do you do about the milk residue stuff that comes from the milk container? It is always on the shelf...along with other rings and nastiness...is that a word?:) I will clean it out TODAY!

You are so right ~ One of my favorite features of our home is that the kitchen opens into the family room. It's the heart of home and family and friends are always in there watching tv, reading a book or sitting my the fire.

Amy, I often fail at keeping the fridge clean, but sometimes I notice it being dirty & quickly clean it before guests arrive! I guess I better get busy since I have guests here now!! :)
I always clean my frig out before company too! I hope everyone thinks it looks that perfect all the time. With glass bowls filled with berries, and pitchers filled with healthy juices. Every other day it's like ,move the juice where is the Pepsi?!
