Tuesday's Tip... Stop the BUGS!

Have you ever noticed the hundreds of dead bugs on the front grille of your car? On a long road trip it can become quite a problem! The solution is that you should try spraying the front of your car with Pam. A friend of my mother-in-law has tried it and it keeps the bugs from sticking to your car. However, you need to be very careful as it can damage the paint on your car. Let me know how it works for you!

Another way to removed dead bugs is to slightly dampen a dryer sheet and then wipe the car. You then wash the car as you normally would.
Happy Tuesday's Tip!

I would imagine the Pam to get awfully sticky as my engine heats the car... I'm skeptical about this one... I will try the dryer sheet, however! I wonder what would happen if I sprayed myself with Pam or rubbed myself with a dryer sheet? LOL!!

I dont think I would spray pam on my car...if I cant get it off my baking pans I doubt I could get it off my car.

I just send my car to the detailing shop and the bugs are their problem!

Well ,y'all have a good point about the heat though Pam does go in the oven. I just read this somewhere else and haven't tried it myself!

Ok, if spraying Pam works, please let me know, since I plan to go all around my house just spraying the stuff to keep dust off my furniture, crumbs off the floor and fingerprints off the windows!!
Now, as for dryer sheets, I have heard, Jess, that people do rub their bodies with them to keep bugs away, so I wonder if it does work for the car. It's worth a try!
Thanks
