Tuesday's Tip
As we're all running our A/C like crazy this summer, it's important to remember to change our filters! Have you changed your filter lately? Sometimes it's hard to remember when you last changed your filter. I have a solution for you! When you change your filter, use a Sharpie marker to mark the date it is installed. If it needs to be changed in 3 months, then write "In July 3, 2010 Out Oct. 3, 2010). When you remember to check it, you'll see how long it has been there and when it needs to be changed! Happy Tuesday's Tip!

Thanks for the reminder. I thought about it yesterday and then forgot- definitely on the "to do list" today.
Wow, that's a great tip! I'm sending my hubby out to get a new filter today. Thanks for the reminder!
I am a BIG supporter of this. Between my job and living in South Florida when an A/C's life is half what it is up north, you MUST change them every 6 months (at least) and every quarter (definately) if you have pets! It saves your A/C unit too! Good reminder!!!
The first time I complain that it's very dusty (winter) or not cold enough (summer) is the day I know the filter needs to be changed lol!
Just attached a marker with a string right next to A/C - will change TODAY! Thanks.
PS....where are you headed on 95? If it's north of Washington find another ROUTE!!!!
Thank goodness my husband and FIL are crazy on top of this twice a year, every year!
This is an excellent tip and reminder. I need to do this tomorrow!
Very smart! I'm on my way to buy new filters and a sharpie. My kids always take my Sharpies and then I can never find them.
Our AC comes on around June 1st and doesn't go off until around August. $Cha Ching$
GREAT tip! We have had a broken ac TWICE b/c we forgot to change the filter. And of course both times it was like 100 degrees outside, lol!
