Can you STAND it? Mad Men SEASON FOUR premiers tomorrow night. Fans can hardly hold their excitement! DH and I have made sure the DVR is ready to record the show. The show intrigues me with its character depth, the amazing couture, and the way it characterizes a unique time in history. Since I was a product of the 1970s, I did not live during this time. I find it all very interesting, don't you?
The only problem with the show is all of Don's indiscretions. For some reason his mistakes tend to make me testy. Suddenly I think I am Betty Draper and I feel wronged. So, sometimes DH discourages me from watching the show! When you read a book or watch a show, do you begin to think of yourself as the character?
Will you join the crowds who are watching Mad Men tomorrow night? I know I will!

I've watched it from the very beginning, but I have to say that I'm on the fence as to whether I want to watch it this year. There were times last season when it was so disturbing that I had problems sleeping, so I had to start watching it OnDemand. I agree that Don's behavior is disappointing and kind of makes me feel sick to my stomach.
Oh yes, I'll be watching. I am a child of the 60's. I remember a lot of the historical events that are spoken about in the show. I was born in 1950 so it really speaks to my generation. That being said - I am a happy-ever-after kind of girl so I have to prepare myself each week for that NOT to happen. Ever. Jeez. :-) xoxo
Well, I was born in 50 too and remember it all so well. I can hardly wait to watch it but ditto...agree with above sentiments!!
I can't wait to watch!!! I just love Betty, she is so elegant, and I hate the way Don does her.

Never seen it. There are a ton of shows out there that I never even heard of until I read about it on someone's blog (Desperate Housewives for real, Gossip Girl, Mad Men, etc...) what else am I missing?
I do, however, LOVE Survivor and the Amazing Race...anyone else?

I totally find a character to identify with, and mine is betty (if only for her fashions) i suppose i would be peggy in real life, since i'm a advertising copywriter and pr gal!

I have never watched one single episode... I am a television nerd! Now that it is in the fourth season, I feel I am too late. Should have started this blogging thing then... think of all I would know about!
