Hey Cute Readers...

Happy March!

I feel so behind. What happened to February? And January? I mean, time is flying at Mama Henley's house. Time has me by the tail and I am losing! I haven't finished our taxes, I still have some Christmas cards I haven't sent, and my coupons are taking over. In fact, DH offered to help me because I have so many to cut. So, we've been fellowshipping over coupons and newspapers and scissors. I am one blessed girl!

I feel like I can never get our house in order. No matter how hard I try, I fail. I weeded so many clothes out of my closet that I hardly have any pants to wear! I just haven't finished my re-do. I have been trying to go through all of our closets and drawers and I purge and purge some more, but our stuff has babies.

I have a friend who keeps an amazing house. Clutter flees from her home like women running to a great sale at Target. She has mastered the art of caring for her home. I have mastered the art of working harder than any woman in America and looking like I must watch soap operas all day. If you can believe it, I haven't seen one Charlie Sheen interview. Not even one. I know he's been saying crazy things, but I haven't watched any of it. I've been too busy picking up the same toys in Hurricane's bedroom and trying to match our endless supply of socks! Do you ever feel this way? I feel like a complete failure in so many ways because I just can never do enough. How do you do it all?

We all have days (months or years) like that. There are a finite number or hours in a day and often more tasks to accomplish than time to accomplish them. If I had the answers to how to do it all, I would share. :)

I do not get it all done either. Some days are better than others!

I feel the SAME WAY! Nothing is ever finished... no matter how much I do! It makes me sad because this is my first year as a stay-at-home mom and I foolishly had visions of being Donna Reed in my head... boo! NOT happening : (

I'm with you. Its like the guy in Greek Mythology who has to roll the stone up the hill and then it just falls back down and he has to do it all over again, forever!!! Do you find socks and wrappers everywhere too? My kids aren't allowed to eat in the playroom yet wrappers, everywhere! I told them if they are going to openly disobey could they at the very least have the decency to throw the wrappers away!!!!

YOu are not kidding!!! I've been really interested in taking this new fitness class and she said it starts April 4th, to which I responded "oh goodie, I've got 8 weeks to prepare." Since this conversation took place yesterday, she looked at me like I have three heads.
I often wonder the same thing and when you find the answer, please let me know....and vice versa.

In the meantime, I'll be thinking of you as I'm clearing up my own little hurricane. xoxo

I constantly walk around picking things up and putting them away. The house is never as clean as I'd like it. I'm just thinking that's life with three kids (or I am a really bad housekeeper)! :)

This post made me laugh out loud - you crack me up. Yes my house makes me look like I watch soap operas all day long ands sit around reading mags. What is the trick? I am even worse as I hate paperwork too, so just hide it - tidily it seems - in my diary and it never gets done. Thanks goodness my two eldest have learnt to do their own school paperwork and I just sign away...

I feel that way all the time. I'm not the neatest and it drives my hubby crazy. It's hard to keep things straight. It really is...

I am so glad I am not alone!! All I do is clean and pick up only to wonder if I only dreamed the whole thing!! My hubby stayed home the other day and (as I was cleaning) asked "what are you doing?". Seriously? I explained that much to his preconceived idea all I do during the day is clean, laundry, pick-up, and put away!! Not to mention my kids have chores as well! I think its just life when you have so many living under one roof! I tell myself its only a "season"!!

I think you are a wonderful mom and an inspiration to me. Would you like to meet some time for an iced tea? My trips are in VPK in the mornings . Call me and I can head over your way. It is nice to have a friend that understands our crazy lives.
