Craigslist

If you've never tried Craigslist in your area, and you have some items you'd like to sell, you should try it! It is easier than email because your buyers are local. This saves you the cost and time of shipping. I have sold so many things on Craigslist, and they usually sell quickly!

Each time I have listed something on Craigslist, it has been a neat story. We sold a Little Tykes playset and the little toddler played on it when he arrived home later that night. Another man bought adirondack chairs from us and faithfully left the money in our mailbox. Anyway, I have been amazed at how easy it is to sell or give away things using Craigslist, and how nice the buyers are.

If you're doing any spring cleaning, try Craigslist!

I've always been curious but didn't want anyone coming to my house. Any tips?

I felt the same way, but so far no one has been creepy! I always make sure DH will be here too. I don't give out my address info until I talk to the person on the phone. My Craigslist post does not include my phone number, and they encode your email address for you. When I reply back, I ask for their number or give them mine. You could always meet in a mall parking lot or a safe place.
