We are so thankful for Doug's mother, whom the children call Mimi. She is a wonderful gift to our lives. After losing her husband of 50 years, she has done amazingly well. The last 2 years have not been easy ones, but Mimi has handled adversity and grief with grace and great faith. She is a woman to be admired. Dh has always said his mama has a true servant's heart, and he is RIGHT! Mimi unselfishly gives of herself to others. She is very thoughtful. We exchanged Christmas gifts with her the other day, and I was amazed at how well she knew each of our 5 children. We have no exchanges to make with gifts because she knew exactly what each of us enjoys!!! Just wait until I start printing on my new wireless printer & cooking up chocolate from my new cookbook! :) The children are thrilled with their new clothes, Leapster cases, and leapster games. Mimi even kept all 5 children for the night so that we could enjoy a quick night away to see old friends! Mimi, we thank God for you every day. We are thankful for the way you teach all of us through your strong faith. We are proud to call you Mom!

Grandmother's are pretty amazing, they are the only person who loves your children more than you do! They show more patience, tirelessness and love then I have in my being.
Wow!!! Can you send Mimi over here ;)
She is darling!!! As are your children!!
My mother is a Mimi! We love her! As a matter of fact, my boys are with G-dad and Mimi at Pawley's Island right now. I am just a tad bit jealous...
Hope you had a blessed Thanksgiving...
Mimi is precious and sounds amazing. With four sons ... oh how I pray my future daughters in law will think as highly of me!
Love & Blessings from Hong Kong,
Kim
