Today our Hurricane complained that her ear hurts. It turns out she has a very bad ear infection. I asked her if it hurts, and that sweet little thing replied, "Yes, it SERIOUSLY hurts". Sweet little love! We're praying for a QUICK recovery!

I'm sure she is on an antibiotic by now, but if that, plus some Motrin doesn't help. Here's some helpful hints: A few drops of WARM oil in the ear, a warm, moist wash cloth and a bottle. Yes, you heard me right. A baby bottle with water in it (use a large, HOT pin to poke more holes in it). Giving her something to suck on will relieve the pressure. My baby is 7 and I do all those things (especially at bedtime)to help relieve the pain because we all know that's when the darn thing really starts to hurt.

Oh no! Hope she feels better soon... S was complaining about his ear this morning. I'm just hoping he slept on it funny!
