Handle with Care- Book Review

After a reading hiatus that lasted longer than I care to admit, I have been reading up a storm! I just read Jodi Piccoult's "Handle with Care". This was a GREAT novel! Click here to buy it on Amazon.com. I found it at our local library on the new releases shelf. This is a heart-wrenching story about a young girl who was born with Osteogenesis Imperfecta, which some call brittle bone disease. It is a great look at the challenges families face when a child is born with health issues. I cried reading this book, but I loved what I learned from it. I hope you will too! Please let me know of other great books you have read lately.

I love Jodi Picoult books. I just read Happens Every Day - it's a memoir about a woman going through a divorce. It's raw and it's inspiring. You will strive to be a more attentive wife after reading this because the title is so true - it does happen every day! I could not put it down.

what I love about JP is that she has this uncanny knack of getting you to see both sides of the story... and appreciating both sides. I will have to check that out... as well as Happens Every Day. Thanks for the suggestions!

Too Big to Fail by Andrew Ross Sorkin and I am always reading The New Yorker. You might also like the Miss Reade series about life in an English country village.
