Fired UP!
I am fired up. It is 8am. I just told my oldest children and husband goodbye. The doorbell rang. It is EIGHT O'CLOCK in the morning! I am home with only a small child to protect me. Door to door salesmen make me so angry! I hate being approached when I am not expecting someone. Early in the morning or when it's dark are completely inappropriate. What do think?

The only person that should be at my door at 8am is my husband because he forgot somthing and came back to get it.
Due to the length of our driveway and barking dog, I always have a quick minute to peek out the window. If it's not someone I know or expecting, I will often not answer.

I am terrified of ringing doorbells. I am glad I am not the only one. Too much horror on the news and too many scary television shows. I have learned to answer the door with my phone in hand. So my potential murderer will see that he can be traced! Really, I am pathetic! LOL

I dont answer the door if I'm not expecting anyone. If it is a friend they will see my car in the driveway and call me from my front step and then I will answer the door.
When someone is going door to door I usually call the police - I always assume they are looking for houses to break into :O(
I don't even care if they see me. I simply do not answer. I don't care if it's Ed McMahon's crew giving me $$$$. Not answering- not worth it.

I think we all agree here....if you aren't expecting anyone then thee's no need to answer the door.
Worse than that is my UPS guy leaves the package, rings the doorbell and then bolts away!!!! When my children were napping this annoyed me so much! Oh and the census people are coming!
I never answer the door unless it is the UPS man - whose truck makes just that certain sound - or someone I am expecting. xoox
If I don't know you, I won't answer the door. I can't believe that you had someone at your door at 8:00 and what is even creepier is the fact that he waited around in front for so long. Sorry this put a damper on your morning!
