I am the happy wife of one amazing husband and the proud mother of 5 precious angels, including a set of triplets!! I love being a mother & learning how to better love, care for, cook for, and educate our children. I also like to help others when they don't receive the service promised at hotels, restaurants, etc. Enjoy learning about life at Mama Henley's House!

Mama's always know best...love it! haha
I've always had that attitude. Even when I was a child. In the classroom -- not so appropriate there tho! LOL
And as for the Thank Yous, I must confess... we haven't actually started them yet. Tonight they will be signed, sealed and deliered!
Very wisely spoken. I might just have that quote/song made into a wall hanging and put it where it can be visible every day.
Isn't it funny how songs that our mothers used to sing when we were children stick with us? I hated it when I was a child, but my mother used to sing "You can't always get what you want" from the Rolling Stones to us. I laugh at it now because I find myself singing it to my children.
Oh that is too funny, sounds like something my Grandmother would say!
My Mama taught me this too and my children seem to love a good party. In addition I was taught if you were invited to a party - go - what if you threw a party and no one came.
it's so funny you wrote this post because my mom sings it to me and my sister and her mom sang it to her!! happy new year!
MY mama used to say that too! Especially to my father when he was getting a little tired of all our raucousness! She also had a little dance that went with it... crazy mama!
Your momma is so precious!
Love that scene in Father of The Bride when Martin short sings that song. xoxo
SC
Enjoy your party!
Jo
haha! yes, I do love that scene from Father of the Bride, when Franck sings this.
And what a beautiful picture of your mama! She does look like she loves life!
Blessings & Aloha!
Hey... I'm answering your question about my blog design. Guilty as charged! Ha ha... www.shabbyblogs.com has the free layout. I thought the yellow tied in with my Golden Day theme!
I do, also, love the painted tile: A Friend Loves at All Times. That is just a picture from an online catalog that I buy from www.whimsicalgrace.com. So, viola, here is my creation!
Thanks cute friend!!!
I'm never the party pooper! And yes, I have been known to sing that song, too! All the best to you and yours in the new year.
